These 100-W, four-pair, PoE magnetic modules are aimed at engineers who are developing products compliant with the NBASE-T / IEEE 802.3bz and 802.3bt standards while optimizing performance and reliability.
Siemens tech boosts energy efficiency in Monte Rosa Hut
March 16, 2021
The Monte Rosa Hut is a distinctive landmark in the Valais Alps in Switzerland. Thanks to a photovoltaic system integrated into its southern façade as well as thermal solar collectors, the Monte Rosa Hut has been largely self-sufficient since construction was completed in 2010.
Now available for 60-Hz applications in North America demanding up to 1000 kW of standby power or 910 kW of prime power, the Cat XQ1140 power module features a twin-pack design.
Backed by 21.4 MW of standby power from Zeppelin Power Systems and Caterpillar
March 12, 2021
Zeppelin recently installed and commissioned eight Cat 3516B-HD and two Cat 3512B diesel generator sets for the expansion of IXcellerate’s Moscow One and Moscow Two data centers, which have received the Uptime Institute’s Tier III certification for design requirements.
The development will also establish new communities and integrate existing ones in parallel to the Nile Valley, but, most importantly, will support the efforts to ensure food security and achieve wheat self-sufficiency for Egypt.
In the coming years, data center traffic is predicted to continue its immense growth. To support the higher demand, data centers will require networking at higher speeds with higher capacity servers, switches, and interconnects using PAM4 signaling.
Test your knowledge of generators and their role in on-site prime power and microgrids in the 21st century with this 10-question quiz from Rosendin Electric.
The CP Series of DIN rail terminal blocks measure 3.5 mm wide and feature push-in technology for toolless wiring of solid wires and flexible wires with ferrules.
