International Data Center Day is coming up on March 23, but the point of the day is for it to be an ongoing effort throughout the year to raise awareness of the industry, which is why I am talking about it now.
Is 2022 going to be the year digital infrastructure and data center education go mainstream? Will everything be offered as a service? Will we catch up to the cybercriminals? Where are we going to store all of this data we’re creating? And, most importantly, what does the future look like?
Because resources are burdened with the day-to-day management of IT, some more strategic initiatives, such as business continuity planning, do not get the attention they deserve.
Since it's best practice in the science community to make research available for peer review, I figured I'd share my extended abstract with my favorite readers of all time: you!
