NYI has announced a formal partnership with ProactiveRISK, a leading security service provider and international security standards and best practices contributor. This collaboration enables NYI to be the exclusive ProactiveRISK data center partner in New York and New Jersey and creates an industry-first, a la carte security services option designed to identify even the most miniscule security risks in their networks, applications and social media platforms.

NYI’s security announcement comes simultaneously with its status as a newly registered government System for Award Management (SAM) entity. ProactiveRISK also maintains classification as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) which places the companies in position to assist government agencies with the control of various cyber security threats.

The company is able to offer expanded security support to its existing customer base and offers these services worldwide as an authorized re-seller. ProactiveRISK’s existing approach, which includes a proactive managed services model, CATScan℠ (Comprehensive Accutrate Testing and Scanning) and social media reporting, is an effective method for recognizing early security issues before they become irreparable.

“ProactiveRISK provides a unique, cost-effective platform for heightened security,” states Phil Koblence, president and CEO of NYI. “We carefully selected this partner based upon the exceptional caliber of work we observed directly. Our company is equally honored to collaborate with a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business/Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB), which is a logical extension of our efforts to support strategies that further VO and SDVOSB global marketplace opportunities.”

"We are excited to have NYI as a partner as their team has a clear passion for innovation and has dedicated their company to offering superior client value, mission support and the best of breed IT solutions to their clients,” comments Tom Brennan, founder of ProactiveRISK. “Like us, NYI’s employees are explorers in constant pursuit of ways to improve performance. In addition to a stellar reputation for excellence, we also appreciate that NYI has been a long-time supporter of many nonprofit open security best practices efforts such as OWASP and FreeBSD.”
