NYI has announced a strategic partnership with Cross River Fiber, a New Jersey-based fiber optic and telecommunications solutions provider. This new partnership now strengthens the burgeoning technology ecosystem across the New Jersey and New York City metro areas, with Cross River Fiber establishing an access point within NYI’s Bridgewater, New Jersey facility.

Cross River Fiber offers high-bandwidth connectivity to address its customers’ varied IT requirements such as security, diversity, scalability and ultra low latency. As part of its partnership with NYI, Cross River Fiber will deploy its robust fiber network into the Bridgewater data center, which is located just 40 miles from Lower Manhattan and offers premier connectivity for trading platforms, backup processes and other latency-sensitive applications.

“As NYI celebrates 20 years of providing customized, agile managed solutions our success can be attributed to being nimble and providing truly personalized service to our customers. We can get things done in a way that larger companies simply cannot,” states Phil Koblence, co-founder and chief operating officer for NYI. “It is through partnerships with companies like Cross River Fiber that we can continue to build a relevant ecosystem for our clients to tap into — offering them the best IT options in order to optimize their business operations.”

“At Cross River Fiber, we are continually looking to broaden our network footprint while offering competitive and reliable services,” adds Vincenzo Clemente, chief executive officer of Cross River Fiber. “The partnership allows us to further meet our goals by utilizing NYI’s data center as an access point to our products, whether it’s dark fiber, managed transport, IP or cloud services. The Bridgewater facility is a complementary aggregation point for our fiber network.”
