Students receive $20,000 grant towards tuition cost, internship at Advanced Energy, and professional mentoring

Since its launch in 2021, the program has provided financial support, mentoring and hands-on internship experience to nine students from five partner universities excelling in education and research focused on precision power technologies.
Students participated in a variety of hands-on activities, including making balloon cars, robotic hands, pinwheels, water filtration systems, and solar-powered cars. Each activity allowed students to learn about the importance of manufacturing, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, renewable energy, and natural resources.
The downside of rushing headlong into an endeavor is the heightened potential for running full speed into missteps that would have been apparent had we taken the time upfront to guard against them.
