Trane®, a business unit of Ingersoll Rand, acquired Arctic Chiller Group, a Canadian-based HVAC manufacturer, specializing in high efficiency air- and water-cooled, modular and process chillers for commercial HVAC and process cooling applications.
This hybrid cooler maintains peak performance for a variety of applications where water is scarce, water costs are high, uptime is critical, or plume is a concern by delivering energy-efficient cooling while maximizing water savings.
The York Sun Choice rooftop units deliver value from project start to finish. The 15- to 27.5-ton units exceed Department of Energy (DOE) 2018 guidelines by up to 25% and already surpass future DOE 2023 part-load standards by almost 10%, reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
This technology was created with the intent to provide facility decision-makers with the tools needed to select, rate, and configure Johnson Controls Equipment on their own, including chillers, air-handling units (including factory-packaged controls), packaged systems, and related components.
Optional direct expansion (DX) or chilled water cooling (CWC) coils allow for installation in diverse geographic locations while maintaining a low initial investment.
