A new 14 MW expansion is now under construction at Green Mountain's LON1-East campus in Romford, United Kingdom. The site is ideally located near the main financial districts of London and the key Market Exchanges. The new data center expansion will be built over two phases (7 MW each phase), inside the existing building and offers over 5,500 sqm of white space. The first phase is set to be completed by Q1 2025. The campus has the potential to be expanded with an additional 16 MW.
Norwegian data center company, Green Mountain, officially incorporated Infinity Data Centers into their portfolio in January 2023 and renamed the site LON1-East. The site has subsequently been rebranded and is now ready for a major expansion. Three new data halls supporting 7 MW of IT-load will be built inside an existing building at the site with a further three halls (7 MW) following thereafter. For clients needing scale, the site can offer an additional 16 MW build-to-suit opportunity on an adjacent plot of land with power and planning permission already secured.
