Hurricane Electric Expands to Argentina with point of presence at datacenter SyT in Buenos Aires
New Point of Presence will provide additional global connectivity options to one of the largest economies in South America
Hurricane Electric, the world’s largest IPv6-native Internet backbone announced today that Hurricane Electric has deployed a new Point of Presence (PoP) in Datacenter SyT in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The new PoP is located at 128 Suipacha, Buenos Aires, 1401, Argentina.
This carrier-neutral data center is operated by Servicios y Telecomunicaciones and offers customers 9,300 square feet of space including remote hands, rack cabinets, office space, and individual server hosting. This facility is located in downtown Buenos Aires, approximately 30 km (18 miles) from Ezeiza International Airport. This facility has a direct connection to the Buenos Aires IXP, direct connection to the FL-IX in Florida, US, and access to multiple TIER 1 international transit providers.
