The Flex’ion^TM Gen2 is a lithium-ion (Li-ion) backup battery solution that provides up to 220 kW per cabinet. Designed for data centers and other mission critical UPS applications, such as hospitals and industrial processes, the system is modular, scalable, compact, lightweight, and capable of operating continuously at high temperatures. It is certified under the ICC International Fire Code (IFC 2018) and NFPA 855 standards — it can be used without a built-in fire suppression system and does not require a 3-foot air separation gap between cabinets. Eliminating the air gap minimizes the UPS footprint and therefore reduces total cost of ownership (TCO).
