ASCO Power Technologies has released the 2755 Portable Load Bank. This load bank represents the next generation of compact portable load banks with sophisticated digital controls. The 2755 also features quick disconnect receptacles for load cable input, along with transport handles and swivel casters for ease of mobility. The approximate 27” width allows the 2755 to easily fit through man doors and freight elevators. .
The 2755 provides an industry exclusive 265 kW of load at both 240 and 480V, 3 phase, 60 Hz. The load bank will also de-rate to 200 kW at 208 V and 415 V, 3 phase, 60 Hz. The 200 kW rating at 208 or 415 V allows the user to test multiple circuit breakers and UPS systems commonly found in modern data centers. Like all ASCO-Avtron Product Load Banks the 2755 can be easily configured for single phase applications.
The 2755 also features Sigma LT which is the most sophisticated, rugged and easy to operate digital control platform available today. “Digital Toggle” switch control and full digital metering are provided as standard on the 2755. To unleash the full power of the Sigma LT, it is recommended that the optional remote color touchscreen controller be purchased. The touchscreen will allow the user to network up to 25 load banks with full network or individual load bank control. The remote controller also features a USB port for data logging downloads or for firmware updates.
