Cognia has announced it has successfully passed a transition audit for ISO27001:2013 by our certifying body the British Standards Institute (BSI).

Cognia upgraded its Information Security Certification from ISO 27001:2005 to ISO 27001:2013 following a thorough transition audit. A number of Cognia functional teams, headed by Cognia's Chief Security Officer, worked together to complete the comprehensive process to meet all standard requirements.

Achieving the latest certification proves Cognia's diligence in protecting and securing corporate confidential data and supports the Company's efforts for compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, the ISO 27001:2013 certification demonstrates its commitment to information security at all levels throughout the organization.

This is an important milestone that recognizes and complements an already robust set of security controls managed by a mature management system.  The ISO certification is a critical independent acknowledgement, and ensures a continued commitment towards information security.

Curtis Nash, CEO of Cognia, said, “We are proud of this achievement, and delighted to further differentiate our innovative PCI-compliant cloud solution by passing this security audit.  Cognia was recently recognized as a Top 20 Call Center Solutions provider by CIO Review, and this highest level ISO certification underscores our overarching commitment to security and the mitigation of risk for our customers around the globe.”
