The company will expand dual power architecture at the Defense Information Systems Agency facility in Ohio.
Eaton has announced a $10.7 million contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to expand one of its large data centers in Ohio. Eaton was awarded the contract under the U.S. Air Force’s Power Conditioning & Continuation Interfacing Equipment (PCCIE) program, which is responsible for providing power quality solutions to the U.S. Air Force around the world. The project will expand dual power architecture for critical and backup power systems installed by Eaton in 2010. Eaton will also add electrical capacity to uninterruptible power systems (UPSs) and provide redundant sources of power to accommodate increased mission loads.
