TELEHOUSE's NYIIX Upgrades To The Centillion Platform
The move is designed to enhance capacity and reliability.
TELEHOUSE has announced it will upgrade to the Centillion platform in order to enhance the overall value of New York International Internet Exchange (NYIIX), the company's extended New York peering network. By upgrading to the Centillion platform, NYIIX members will experience higher capacity and more redundant infrastructure. Centillion uses a dual core MPLS/VPLS architecture and will be offering: 1, 10, and 100 Gig-E support.
Since its inception in 1996, the NYIIX Peering Exchange is New York's largest and most active peering exchange. Data center and carrier-neutral with over 140 members, NYIIX offers the most comprehensive membership list of any New York exchange.
