Hurricane Electric Expands With PoP At Nebraska Colocation Centers
New point of presence will allow customers in the Midwest to access one of the most robust IPv6 backbones in the world.
Hurricane Electric has announced that it has added a new Point of Presence (PoP) at Nebraska Colocation Centers (NCC) located at 1623 Farnam Street, Omaha, NE 68102. The facility houses one of the oldest carrier hotels in the area and has provided state-of-the-art colocation services to regional, as well as national, carriers for more than twenty years.
Hurricane Electric employs a resilient fiber-optic topology and has no less than four redundant paths crossing North America, two separate paths between the U.S. and Europe, and rings in Europe and Asia. Having first deployed IPv6 in 2001, Hurricane Electric offers IPv6 as a core service; every customer is provided IPv6 connectivity as well as classic IPv4 connectivity.
