Geist has announced a new training program for its Environet DCIM software.

The new training program offers two levels of training for endusers. The Field Integration Training program is a two-day course that provides an in-depth review of Environet and includes sessions exploring how devices are integrated into the solution. Once this course has been completed users can progress to the System Implementation Training program. This three-day course provides attendees with an advanced level of technical expertise of the Environet solution. Both training programs are suitable for system administrators, facilities managers, data center managers and NOC technicians and are held at Geist offices in Fort Collins, CO.

Matt Lane, president of Geist’s DCIM division, said “We have designed these new training courses in response to feedback from our end-user customers and channel partners. The two-tier approach to enduser training allows us to address the different needs of the data center and facilities personnel who use our DCIM solutions. Both courses are very hands-on and provide attendees with a real understanding of Environet. We plan to run these courses every quarter to meet customer demand.”
