Silverlake Partners has bought Intel’s data center in Santa Clara, CA, numerous blogs are reporting.
According to a release on its website, Vantage Data Centers plans to redevelop the Santa Clara campus into a world-class wholesale data center facility, with over 300,000 sq ft of space across three buildings. The property features dual 50 MW redundant substations dedicated to the site and, along with its central plant, has the largest, most scalable, and most resilient utility power configuration in the Silicon Valley wholesale data center market.
