Hurricane Electric has announced that it will host a carrier networking event at its Fremont 2 facility on April 5 at 6:00 p.m.

The event will provide an opportunity for attendees to meet with many of the carriers in Hurricane Electric’s data center, enabling them to find a carrier that suits their bandwidth needs.  Attendees will also have an opportunity to network with other Hurricane Electric customers and stakeholders.

Experts from Hurricane Electric will be present to answer any questions on Hurricane Electric’s network and data center, as well as the much anticipated World IPv6 Launch. Those wishing to see more of Hurricane Electric’s 204,000 square-foot colocation facility will have the opportunity to tour the facility.

Some of the carriers participating in the event include:

• Comcast

• CenturyLink

• Zayo

“This event will give the Hurricane Electric community an opportunity to speak with carriers about their network needs, as well as get an update on Hurricane Electric’s expansion plans,” said Mike Leber, president of Hurricane Electric.
