Data Center Infrastructure Management: Part 3

Data Center Infrastructure Management “DCIM” has become the big “must have” on the data center project list, despite the ongoing weak economic environment. This is our third webinar in the series on DCIM. In the first two sessions, we provided an overview of DCIM and explained why almost every organization is putting it on their shopping list, as well as how to address some of the challenges of implementation. We also reviewed the ability of DCIM to do predictive and proactive maintenance analysis to improve overall availability, as well as how it can be utilized for capacity planning.

In this third session, we will examine how DCIM can manage the ongoing challenges of moves, adds, and changes, while continuously helping to optimize energy efficiency. Moreover, we will examine how it can improve the operational management of electrical infrastructure to meet these challenges, which are driven by the ever-evolving and dynamic IT hardware power and cooling requirements. This session will also dive into the long-term direct and indirect benefits of DCIM, which can provide the justification for an investment of capital, time, and labor.

Please be sure to join us for this third live webinar. If you were unable to attend the prior webinars in this series, they are available for replay at  www.MissionCriticalMagazine.com
