Adam Kerns
Adam Kerns is managing principal for Coalfire’s Cyber Risk Advisory practice. He has 15 years of experience as a cybersecurity and compliance subject matter expert for private and public sectors. He has an in-depth understanding of diverse technologies, risk management, vulnerability assessments, and security program development and implementation. Adam leads Coalfire’s Security Automation and Orchestration (SAO) development to automate many aspects of compliance in systems and applications that are subject to regulatory compliance. Specifically, the focus is on automation of NIST SP 800-53-based assessments such as FedRAMP, DOD CC SRG / RMF, CJIS, and ISO 27001. Kerns has a successful record of implementing countermeasures to mission-critical systems and assess cloud security controls based on FedRAMP requirements.
