Chris Poelker
As FalconStor’s VP of Enterprise Solutions Chris Poelker is a highly regarded storage expert with decades of experience, including positions as storage architect at HDS and lead storage architect at Compaq. He also worked as an engineer and VMS consultant at Digital Equipment Corporation. Chris is the author of Storage Area Networks for Dummiesand a regular blogger for Computerworld. Recently, Chris served as deputy commissioner of the TechAmerica Foundation Commission on the Leadership Opportunity in U.S. Deployment of the Cloud (CLOUD²). A popular public speaker, Chris is known both for his authority and ability to speak easily about storage virtualization, cloud computing, IT optimization, and data deduplication.
