Beaty started DLB Associates Consulting Engineers in
1980. The firm is active globally and has provided services for
mission-critical facilities in over 35 states and throughout the world. DLB has
designed all Google owned data center campuses worldwide. He is an ASHRAE
Fellow, served in leadership positions on ASHRAE committees on energy and CRAC
unit performance, and is a major contributor to more than ten data center
books. He was the first chair of ASHRAE Technical Committee TC 9.9 and
currently serves as its publications chair.
