Zeppelin recently installed and commissioned eight Cat 3516B-HD and two Cat 3512B diesel generator sets for the expansion of IXcellerate’s Moscow One and Moscow Two data centers, which have received the Uptime Institute’s Tier III certification for design requirements.
According to recent studies, data centers produce as much carbon as the shipping industry and, unchecked, these emissions are projected to rapidly grow to 10% of the world's global carbon emissions by 2030.
The development will also establish new communities and integrate existing ones in parallel to the Nile Valley, but, most importantly, will support the efforts to ensure food security and achieve wheat self-sufficiency for Egypt.
The sequel to 2020’s “What does an IT pro do?” brings readers inside the world of Honey, a young honey badger, as her IT professional parents teach her everything a curious kid would want to know about data centers.
The project included a site assessment to understand the state of the data center — current electrical load, existing cabling and ductwork, and future load requirements.
