STOKE POGES, England — Maxell completed a joint development of a low-current consumption power supply module kit for evaluation incorporating the PSB401010H ceramic packaged all-solid-state battery. The battery boasts a sulfide-based solid electrolyte, high temperature resistance, a long lifetime, high safety characteristics, and a voltage-boosting DC-DC converter IC. This is equipped with the Nano Energy ultralow-current consumption technology developed by Rohm Co. Ltd.
This development further facilitates the evolution of all-solid-state battery management solutions, enabling the usage in a wide range of applications from household appliances to industrial equipment, such as monitoring devices and measuring instruments.
