Aker Technology now offers the enhanced C1E quartz crystal updated with an industry-leading extended frequency range of 16.000 to 96.000 MHz. It meets the increasing accuracy and reliability demands in the 5G, WiFi-6/6E, IoT, and wireless communications industries.
The ultra-miniature C1E is a four-pad, surface-mount device (SMD) that offers an extended operating temperature range of minus 40° to 105°C. Its seam-sealed ceramic metal construction helps reduce electro-magnetic interference (EMI) effects between the package and the lid.
“To meet the growing demands of the wireless communications industry, we improved on our existing C1E crystal to offer this enhanced version,” said Eric Greenberg, director of North American sales for Aker Technology. “The extended frequency range is ideal for wireless products designed to support better uplink and downlink speeds as well improve remote work environments.”
The C1E delivers tolerances as tight as +/-10 ppm and a stability down to +/-15 ppm in a reliable frequency control device. Other specifications include aging of +/-3 ppm maximum per year, a maximum drive level to 100 µW. and insulation resistance of 500 M Ohm at 100 VDC +/-15 VDC.
The C1E comes in a tape and reel packaging in up to 3,000-piece assembly.
