DALLAS — DataBank earned FedRamp Certification for the third year in a row as well as CSA Star Level 2 certification.
FedRAMP is General Services Administration’s (GSA’s) Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, which provides a standardized approach to security and risk assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
With the complexity and frequency of security incidents and data breaches on the rise, organizations protect their critical data by continuously monitoring security and compliance practices.
“DataBank understands the importance of ensuring compliance not only for our own core infrastructure and services, but also to make sure our customers have the tools, resources, and solutions they need in order to keep their data private and secure,” said Calli Schlientz, DataBank’s compliance team lead.
DataBank is recertified each year for major compliance frameworks, including SSAE18, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and Privacy Shield - GDPR. In addition, the company attained an error-free SSAE18 SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, and PCI-DSS Report on Compliance (ROC) for both Managed Services and Colocation Services, as well as a PCI Report on Compliance (ROC) for its Managed Services platforms in its Baltimore data center (BWI1), Dallas data center (DFW1), and Kansas City cloud nodes.
