Omnitron launched its RuggedNet® Industrial 10G Ethernet and PoE Switches. These switches are designed for industrial and outdoor network applications powering Wi-Fi access points, small cells, IP surveillance cameras, and a variety of industrial and transportation equipment. RuggedNet® 10G switches have two SFP uplink ports that support 1G SFP or 10G SFP+ pluggable transceivers, which enables all of the 10/100/100 RJ-45 ports to provide 1 GB of data to connected devices. The switches are available in non-PoE versions (Ethernet only) as well as models that support PoE/PoE+ and 802.3bt PoE (60 or 100 W).
