CoolIT Systems expanded its Rack DLC™ Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) product line with the release of the CHx200, which can manage more than 200 kW of IT heat in a 4U form factor. The units employ heat exchangers that utilize ASHRAE W4 warm water, eliminating the need for chillers. To ensure optimal performance and reliability, the CDUs feature centralized N+1 redundant pumps, redundant power supplies, and comprehensive control systems that manage and report on 16 sensor locations within the system. They can be configured locally via a 4.3-inch LCD screen or through several network protocols and has multiple operating modes that are customizable by the user to fit specific data center needs.
