The FN2 UPS features advanced digital signal processing (DSP) technology with fewer components resulting in higher reliability and lower service costs. The DSP technology, combined with Falcon’s field-proven online UPS design, provides IT networks and other critical microprocessor-based devices with optimal protection against power disturbances and outages. In addition, the FN2 features scalability up to 40 kVA as well as N+1 redundancy up to 30 kVA. The FN2 Online UPS offers users cost reduction and energy efficiency through its unity output factor. This eliminates the need to purchase an oversized UPS and saves energy throughout the lifetime of the system. It features five-year rated (at 25ºC/77ºF) hot-swappable batteries, which enables fewer battery replacements and lower service costs. Users can also add minutes — or even hours — of extra battery runtime by adding extended battery banks. The FN2’s advanced communication includes software that supports unattended shutdown and UPS management. An optional SNMP/HTTP agent board is available with unlimited server-client software licensing at no additional cost. Additional options include a power distribution unit (PDU) with or without a maintenance bypass switch (MBS) and relay cards.
