Eaton’s Gigabit Network Card (Network-M2) is designed to protect data center UPS systems and PDUs against unplanned power anomalies and cyberthreats. The M2 improves business continuity by notifying administrators of issues and performing orderly shutdown of servers and storage. In the event of power or environmental anomalies, it triggers policies configured to keep mission critical applications running. The card is compatible with today’s widespread Gigabit network switches and can be installed in Gigabit-only data center networks. Additionally, its cybersecurity features include encryption, configurable password policies, and the use of signed digital certificates. The card meets UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards for cybersecurity.
