COLUMBUS, Ohio — Vertiv announced that Sheryl Haislet, an experienced IT leader in the technology and manufacturing sectors, joined the executive team as CIO.

Haislet will be responsible for advancing IT within the organization to support Vertiv initiatives focused on enhancing the customer experience, driving innovation, and developing employees. She brings more than 25 years of experience in lean manufacturing environments, engineering, and information technology to the Vertiv executive team.

“The CIO role is crucial to Vertiv's success,” said Rob Johnson, CEO, Vertiv. “Sheryl’s proven ability to inspire teams and manage organizational change will ensure we continue to use IT across our global organization to drive innovation and collaboration.”

Prior to joining Vertiv, Haislet served as CIO and vice president of Digital Office for Adient, a Tier 1 automotive supplier. She has also served as CIO for Johnson Controls Power Solutions division, where she helped drive commercial excellence programs and a SAP system implementation.

Haislet earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in information systems from Grand Valley State University. She also holds a graduate certificate in SAP Business Processes from Central Michigan University. She will complete her executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology in April 2020.
