Corning introduced a factory cleaning and sealing process to ensure pristine end faces upon first use of all EDGE™ and EDGE8™ solutions. With Corning® CleanAdvantage™, there’s no need for cleaning or visual inspection before the first install. All CleanAdvantage assemblies are visually inspected, cleaned, and inspected again before leaving the Corning factory. The new technology minimizes the risk of debris transfer on the end face and minimizes signal degradation. Additionally, these clean connectors reduce costs, as cleaning pens, cassettes, and wipes are no longer necessary.
