Iron Mountain Announces Grand Opening of New Data Center
AZP-2 is a hyperscale-ready data center powered by 100% renewable energy
BOSTON — Iron Mountain Inc. expanded its Phoenix data center campus with the grand opening of its second enterprise-class data center facility, AZP-2.
The first phase of capacity at AZP-2 provides four megawatts of concurrently maintainable power capacity with the ability to serve both multi-tenant enterprise retail colocation as well as hyper-scale requirements, given the scalable and flexible design of the facility. The three-story purpose-built facility will span more than 530,000 gross square feet and deliver 48 MW of total IT capacity at full build out, with campus connectivity to the existing 45 MW operating in AZP-1 and AZS-1 in Scottsdale, Arizona, leveraging the network density of the existing ecosystem.
