Indiana Governor Signs Law Creating Innovative Data Center Tax Incentive
The move is expected to help state attract cutting edge business.
Indiana Governor Eric J. Holcomb has formally signed the Indiana Data Center Taxation Incentive at an official signing ceremony in Indianapolis, the result of a collaborative effort between Digital Crossroads Data Center and other leading technology businesses and organizations.
The new law makes Indiana the most competitive state in the nation for new data centers by offering tax exemptions for energy and equipment for up to 50 years for new facilities constructed in Indiana; the longest exemption period available in any state.
