Compass Datacenters Begins Construction On 75MW Data Center Campus In Northern Virginia
First facility in Loudoun County will deliver 6MW of IT load to cloud/hyperscale customer.
Compass Datacenters is beginning construction of its first data center in Loudoun County, Virginia. The 6MW building is on Compass' Loudoun campus, which is planned for 500,000 square feet and 75MW of critical IT capacity.
"Northern Virginia is one of the most dynamic data center markets in the world. Over the past several months, we've been working diligently on the site preparing pads for the first building," said Chris Crosby, CEO of Compass Datacenters. "We have now begun construction on the first data center, with subsequent buildings to follow."
