Rackspace Appoints Jesse Burros As Senior Vice President Of Corporate Development
Burros is an experienced leader to leverage deep cloud services knowledge to drive company’s M&A and investor relations activities.
Rackspace has announced it has hired Jesse Burros as senior vice president of corporate development. Burros, who brings nearly 15 years of corporate development and investment banking experience, will be responsible for leading the company’s mergers and acquisitions strategy and execution, as well as Investor Relations.
“Jesse is a proven leader with a deep understanding of capital markets, M&A and the global IT landscape,” said Louis Alterman, CFO of Rackspace. “As we push to become the greatest technology services company in the world, we’ll continue to pursue opportunities to help us broaden our expertise and strengthen our solutions portfolio, and we’ll have expanded opportunities to interact with the capital markets. Jesse is the ideal leader to drive these efforts.”
Prior to joining Rackspace, Burros established and led the cloud services investment banking practice at BMO Capital Markets. While at BMO, Burros successfully advised public and private companies on equity and debt offerings, sales, acquisitions and divestitures worth over $4 billion in transaction volume. Among other notable M&A transactions and initial public offerings, Burros was the exclusive financial advisor to Rackspace and Apollo on the acquisition of TriCore Solutions. Before joining BMO, Jesse held corporate strategy and finance roles with Time Warner, MTV Networks and Jefferies.
