DataBank has announced the appointment of William Pratt as vice president, channel and managed services sales. The newly created position bolsters DataBank’s Channel Partner program and further ensures that its solutions suite is optimized to complement the Channel’s offerings and meet enduser requirements. Pratt is responsible for the Channel Partner program’s strategic vision and overall growth. In addition, Pratt will oversee the company’s go-to-market strategy for Managed Services and supporting hybrid solutions across all platforms.

Pratt brings two decades of experience to DataBank in executive sales roles and was most recently senior vice president of colocation for Datapipe and vice president of enterprise and channel sales at Datapipe (now RackSpace).

“With DataBank, I am looking forward to strengthening relationships in the channel ecosystem, developing the brand, and helping to drive sales for our Channel Partners,” comments Pratt. “My team and I will also focus on new training and tools to ensure Channel Partners are armed with the necessary resources for success. Our Channel Partners have high quality, secure colocation options they can blend with other services for a true hybrid solution.”

“We’re excited to have Bill on the team. He joins DataBank at an incredible time of growth for the company, as we are seeing an increased demand for hybrid solutions from our partners, prospects and customers,” comments Stephen Callahan, senior vice president of sales for DataBank. “Bill’s industry track record and expertise will allow him to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on our Channel and Managed Services initiatives.”
