RF Code has announced that it has appointed veteran technology strategist David Williams as its new vice president of strategy and business development.

As VP, Williams will be responsible for RF Code’s corporate strategy, including market positioning, product definition and research, and technology partnerships. Williams has significant experience in defining vision and strategy that enhances the leadership position of a company and drives market growth. He brings to RF Code his skills in management, analysis, and marketing as both an executive and board member, including successfully repositioning products and significantly increasing company value.

“We are thrilled to welcome David to RF Code’s executive team,” said Dale Quayle, CEO of RF Code. “He has had an incredible career of formulating strategy and creating value for technology companies. With his record of corporate success, he will help drive RF Code’s product and marketing strategy to the next level, and his extensive technology management and analytics experience will be a catalyst for our continued growth.”

Williams comes to RF Code from his role of senior vice president of Portfolio Strategy at CA Technologies. During his tenure, he was responsible for managing strategy and vision across all product areas of CA Technologies’ $4.5 billion portfolio. He defined and managed strategic initiatives across CA’s cloud and DevOps products, security market prioritization, and platform and integration architecture, helping drive value for the company ahead of its acquisition by Broadcom for almost $19 billion. Prior to his role at CA Technologies, Williams was a Vice President of Research at Gartner.

“It’s exciting to start the new year with a new mission here at RF Code,” said David Williams. “With its reputation for innovation in data centers, RF Code enables data center owners and operators to manage their critical assets. I’m looking forward to working with the team on the company’s strategic direction, to enable future product and customer growth.”
