Hurricane Electric And H5 Data Centers Partner To Bring High-Speed Connectivity To Albuquerque
New point of presence at 505 Marquette will provide customers in New Mexico with high-speed and cost-effective connectivity options.
Hurricane Electric has announced that it has added a new point of presence (PoP) at H5 Data Centers. The new PoP is located in H5 Data Centers’ Albuquerque edge data center at 505 Marquette Ave., NW, a 225,000-sq-ft carrier hotel and office building with significant access to a variety of fiber and network access providers. The facility is regarded as a top point of interconnection in New Mexico and serves a strategic role for communications in Albuquerque and throughout the Southwest.
Hurricane Electric’s latest PoP will provide enterprises and residential IP providers in New Mexico with improved fault tolerance, load balancing and congestion management in the delivery of next generation IP connectivity services.

Customers of H5 Data Centers and those within greater Albuquerque now have a variety of new connectivity options and access to Hurricane Electric’s extensive IPv4 and IPv6 network through 100GE (100 Gigabit Ethernet), 10GE (10 Gigabit Ethernet) and GigE (1 Gigabit Ethernet) ports. Additionally, customers at the facility are able to exchange IP traffic with Hurricane Electric’s vast global network, which offers over 20,000 BGP sessions with over 7,200 different networks via more than 185 major exchange points and thousands of customer and private peering ports.
