EdgeConneX® has announced the formation of an Edge Data Center® (EDC) campus in Denver by adding an additional building supporting 21MW of available capacity. In addition, Megaport, the leading Network as a Service provider, will deploy their SDN to enable elastic interconnection services within EdgeConneX’s Denver facilities, helping to enable enterprise customers to securely and rapidly connect to multiple cloud service providers.
EdgeConneX’s Edge Data Center campus, located in the heart of the Denver technology center, offers a carrier-neutral and high power density facility purpose-built for content, network, cloud and IT providers, capable of supporting deployments of up to 30kW/rack. The new, 115,000-sq-ft facility, built from the ground up in under six months, complements the existing facility, which hosts some of the leading network and web scale content service providers in the world.
