Green House Data has announced the hire of Maxon Duncan as VP of Cloud Technology.

Duncan comes to Green House Data from Assuritive, a cloud-based disaster recovery provider that was acquired by the company for intellectual property and industry expertise. In his new role with Green House Data as a leader of the cloud technology team, he will focus on the delivery of highly available, scalable cloud architectures across a variety of platforms and integrations.

“Max is a cloud innovator and we’re very excited to continue to work with him to create resilient IaaS deployments,” said Cortney Thompson, CIO, Green House Data. “In addition, his experience within the managed service provider ecosystem, as well as security, automation, and large-scale platforms will help us increase efficiencies across our platforms.”

With over two decades of IT managerial experience, including positions as the Director of IT at Silverpop Systems (since acquired by IBM), Director of Network Operations and IT at BeyondTrust, and VP of Global IT at Kaseya, Mr. Duncan has deep experience in managed services, IT infrastructure platforms, and both vertical and horizontal applications stacks.

“Green House Data is a mature organization who has held on to their creative, entrepreneurial spirit,” said Duncan. “I’m ready to help this company take the next step as a global IT infrastructure provider, working with our own cloud platform and data centers as well as hyperscale providers. The Green House Data team is extremely talented and I’m excited to work alongside them to support our clients’ cloud infrastructure at scale.”
