Siemon has announced that Carol Everett Oliver, RCDD, ESS, has joined the company as the network cabling specialist for the Southeast to provide sales, technical support, and training, as well as create new business opportunities for the entire company.

Oliver has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, which includes sales and customer training, technical support and marketing responsibilities. Most recently, she was the training and technology manager for Legrand Data Communications Division (North America) and was also an integral part of their intelligent building strategic team. She spent nine years a Berk-Tek, a Nexans Company (New Holland, PA), and held various positions in marketing with her latest role as channel marketing manager. Prior to that she owned a marketing consulting firm, Everett Communications (Medway, MA), for 10 years, where she published more than 100 technical articles and case studies, as well as coordinated advertising campaigns and events for a variety of manufacturers in our industry. She is currently the secretary on the BICSI Board of Directors, the chair for the BICSI Intelligent Building standards’ subcommittee and vice chair for the BICSI ESS standards. She was the BICSI U.S. Northeast Region Director from 2012 to 2016. In 2010 she was the recipient of the David K. Blythe/University of Kentucky BICSI Member of the Year Award, and in 2009 recognized by BICSI as one of the Top 25 RCDD "Changemakers."  She holds her bachelor’s degree in marketing from San Jose State University (California) and currently resides in Cape Coral, Florida.
