RiverMeadow Software™ Inc. has announced support for AWS in their newest release of RiverMeadow Migration SaaS. With this new version businesses can automate the process of migrating workloads and applications to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environments.

This release of RiverMeadow SaaS comes at a critical time in AWS's product and service development, with a significant focus being applied to migration capabilities worldwide. AWS has named migration as the top partner initiative for 2016. This new release of RiverMeadow SaaS coincides with the announcement of numerous AWS cloud adoption frameworks, data/database transfer services, and discovery tools — all of which complement RiverMeadow's support for AWS.

"As businesses continue to move their workloads to cloud computing platforms, it's important that services like RiverMeadow SaaS ease their way through automation solutions. What used to require several tedious and complex manual steps to move workloads into AWS is now automated through a few button clicks in the RiverMeadow SaaS UI," said Richard Scannell, RiverMeadow CEO. "We're excited about our partnership with AWS. RiverMeadow extends the characteristics of Cloud into the domain of migrations — total automation, scale out and subscription."

RiverMeadow integrates with AWS through APIs leveraging a comprehensive set of AWS features and functionality for a highly streamlined and integrated customer experience. No agent installs on source or target are required. Customers simply log in to the RiverMeadow SaaS portal, add their workloads to their source library, connect their target AWS VPC start migrating. RiverMeadow and AWS customers have a completely automated service available to them for moving workloads residing on premises or in other clouds into AWS, quickly, securely and with minimal effort.
