Avere Systems has announced that Google Cloud Platform has named Avere the “Google Cloud Platform Technology Partner of the Year” for 2015. The award was presented at TeamWork 2016, Google for Work’s annual global partner summit, which took place last week in Las Vegas, NV.

The award is a culmination of the close technical collaboration and joint customer successes between Avere and Google Cloud Platform. In April 2015, Avere announced the working relationship with Google with the mission of empowering customers to move compute intensive workloads and large data sets to Google Cloud Platform. Avere technology delivers low latency and high performance to joint customers working in the cloud, helping them reap the benefits of Google Cloud Platform’s highly-scalable and reliable infrastructure. Avere and Google Cloud Platform share a number of joint customers including award-winning visual effects studios like Framestore and Moonbot Studios.
