Masergy Communications Inc. has announced that its Software Defined Platform has been named as a Finalist in the 2016 BIG Innovation Awards presented by the Business Intelligence Group. The Software Defined Platform is the foundation for Masergy's hybrid networking, managed security and cloud communications services.

The award recognized Masergy for its innovation in bringing automation, virtualization, and programmability to its global network fabric, reducing the complexity associated with customers' IT tasks.
