Cloudnexa has announced a new solution that provides a fast, simple, and secure way for customers to achieve high performance from WordPress deployments on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Cloudnexa’s Hosted Apps on AWS solution is a self-service offering built on the award-winning vNOC cloud management platform, leveraging its best practices for deploying WordPress — the leading content management system – on AWS.

Cloudnexa enables clients, particularly small-to-medium businesses that lack the in-house expertise and resources, to cost-effectively maximize their WordPress deployment on AWS. The new offering is available in economy, standard, and performance service plans to meet the specific needs of companies deploying WordPress on AWS, managing AWS on their own, or using a web host service to support their WordPress site.

Cloudnexa, a Premier Consulting Partner in the AWS Partner Network (APN) and an audited AWS Managed Service Partner, offers an automated online path to best-practice based cloud management, provisioning, and – now – WordPress deployment, through the vNOC platform. The latest offering is a simple, preconfigured, prepackaged solution that offers fast, push-button deployment of a WordPress environment. It also leverages native AWS security at the infrastructure layer. To get started, Cloudnexa customers simply select the service plan that best meets their needs and start using WordPress on AWS.

“We work with clients every day who need support to configure highly available, scalable resources with auto-recovery capabilities on AWS for their WordPress applications,” said Joel Davne, founder and CEO of Cloudnexa. “That’s why we expanded our self-service offerings with this pre-engineered hosted solution that combines our expertise for architecting WordPress on AWS, at three different service levels.”

The WordPress Hosted App Solution

The Cloudnexa Hosted App solution for WordPress provides the expertise needed to achieve a high-performing content management infrastructure on AWS, and saves organizations the time and money they would otherwise spend on trial-and-error deployments. To free organizations to focus on developing the actual content of their websites and applications, each Cloudnexa Hosted App includes the following AWS core components:

  • Load balancing: an AWS Elastic Load Balancer in front of the autoscaled web servers
  • Web application servers: autoscaled Apache and PHP enabled containers on AWS Elastic Beanstalk using AWS Linux
  • Database: an Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) database running MySQl, with both Amazon RDS single Availability Zone and multi-Availability Zone deployments supported depending on the package
  • Content delivery network (CDN): the Amazon CloudFront service to improve the performance of static assets

In addition, Cloudnexa also recently announced its White Label Managed Service Program (MSP) for AWS. The program allows existing APN members to immediately expand their business models and offer managed services to their customers by taking advantage of this white label offering from Cloudnexa.
