OneNeck IT Solutions has announced the signing of its first SAP customer — Fender Musical Instruments. This announcement expands the nearly decade-long partnership between these two companies. It also comes on the heels of OneNeck’s recent announcement about becoming an SAP-certified provider of hosting services, in which the company successfully demonstrated their ability to perform a range of IT services related to SAP applications.

“We already have a multi-year relationship with OneNeck,” says Michael Spandau, CIO at Fender. “The quality of their people, their customer-first approach and their willingness to listen, then tailor a solution to fit individual customer needs are just a few of the reasons we are expanding our partnership with OneNeck.”

Dating back to 1946, Fender has touched and transformed music worldwide, and in nearly every genre. From beginners to hobbyists, some of the world’s most acclaimed artists and performers have used Fender instruments and amps.

For nearly a decade, Fender has counted on OneNeck, a provider of hybrid IT solutions, to manage their Informix Database and provide SQL Management. When it came time to choose a new provider to host and support their SAP applications, Fender looked to OneNeck.

“We appreciate the trust and faith Fender has in our company and our people that they would immediately look to us to manage their SAP application,” said Clint Harder, CTO and senior vice president of Cloud and Managed Services at OneNeck. “By leveraging the nearly 20 years of SAP expertise at our fingertips we’re a proven-provider with the ability to deliver SAP application management to businesses across the country.”

OneNeck is now supporting five of Fender’s SAP applications, including: ERP Central Component (R3), Business Warehouse, Strategic Enterprise Management, Governance Risk and Compliance and Solution Manager. OneNeck also manages Fender’s Solaris operating system, Oracle database, and provides disaster recovery services at the OneNeck data center in Madison, WI.

“They execute IT strategy with high precision,” stated Spandau. “And their services are predictable, reliable and always accessible.”
