VMware User Group (VMUG) recently announced Brad Tompkins as the new VMUG CEO. In his role, Tompkins is responsible for providing executive leadership for the organization, as well as oversight of all VMUG programs and operations.
“The growth VMUG has experienced in the last five years has been tremendous, and I look forward to being a part of taking VMUG into the future. It is an exciting time for the organization and I am happy to be a part of it." said Tompkins.
With 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Tompkins has served in a variety of roles and organizations, and has been deeply engaged in managing VMware solutions. Prior to VMUG, Tompkins was general manager at Immedion, an IaaS provider in Asheville, NC, where he was responsible for oversight of branch operations, developing sales strategies and overall customer interaction. Tompkins plans to use his experience to lead VMUG members into the next level of knowledge and IT trainings.
