Talend has announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Visionaries” quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools” report1. Talend improved its position in the Magic Quadrant moving positively up and to the right based on its completeness of vision and ability to execute. According to the report, “Enterprises' need to improve the flexibility of their information infrastructure is intensifying their focus on data integration activities. More information and application managers are realizing that data integration is a critical aspect of their overall enterprise information management (EIM) strategy and information infrastructure.”

"There are major shifts taking place in data architectures, in particular around Big Data, cloud and open source, that are driving many organizations to reconsider their data management strategies” said Ciaran Dynes, vice president of products, Talend. “We believe our position in the Magic Quadrant means that any company looking to invest in data integration - regardless of project type or scope — will need to consider Talend. We very much welcome the opportunity to be evaluated against market incumbents as we believe Talend’s open, agile and unified platform offers a very clear and compelling alternative.”

The growth rate is above the average for the enterprise software market as a whole, as data integration capability continues to be considered of critical importance for addressing the diversity of problems and emerging requirements.
