Global Capacity has announced that its chief revenue officer, Ben Edmond, will speak at the 37th annual Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC) 2015, to be held January 18-21, 2015 in Honolulu, HI. PTC is Asia-Pacific's premier telecommunications event, bringing together senior executives across telecommunications, information technology and related industries to discuss the foundations and implications of trends and disruptions within the technology industry.
Edmond will join an elite group of industry experts from Oppenheimer & Co., OrionVM and Epsilon in the session Cloud, Connectivity and IT Sourcing, taking place Wednesday, January 21. Edmond’s segment, titled “Simplifying the Delivery of Complex Cloud Solutions,” will examine how the shift of mission-critical applications from headquarters into data centers is driving demand for security and performance amongst enterprises seeking connectivity to business systems in the Cloud. Attendees will also learn how providers can leverage network interconnections and aggregation to connect into an ecosystem of on-demand cloud applications for revenue-generating solutions.
“As the Cloud market propagates into a $180 billion industry in 2015, businesses that rely on the cloud for critical applications will turn to aggregated, multi-cloud solutions,” said Edmond. “With connectivity to 98% of the commercial addresses in the US, One Marketplace is a unique solution that simplifies the delivery of business applications from data centers to your customer locations.”
