BroadGroup is launching a new global event series brand, Datacloud, focused on enterprise data center and cloud service usage and demand.
Its flagship European event Datacentres Europe, the 10th anniversary of which took place recently in Monaco, is to be re-branded as the global conference and exhibition, Datacloud 2015.
The company has also announced that the annual Awards will move from London and will now take place in Monaco at Datacloud 2015. A new panel of Judges will support the launch of several prestigious European and International cloud and data center award categories.
The conference uniquely approaches cloud challenges — integration, procurement, management, hybrid cloud, and security among others - for enterprises and assesses the implications for their data center infrastructure — whether owned or outsourced. Data center energy, platforms, services and technologies will still form a core role in the content and exhibition.
“The data center market continues to transition,” commented Steve Wallage, managing director at BroadGroup Consulting. “Competition will intensify in outsourcing to third party data centers over the next two to three years and cloud will play a significant role in transforming services and in creating new revenue streams. The new Datacloud events will articulate these changes and provide a new forum for enterprises to discover and assess technologies and business opportunities.”

Datacloud 2015 is expected to attract more than 2k executives, and will take place at the Grimaldi Forum conference center in Monaco with the Awards on the evening of 2nd June, followed by the conference and exhibition on 3rd and 4th June.
